This Spring teens learned about the basic elements of design and how to research, sketch out their ideas, and finally how to communicate those ideas using a 3D modeling program called SketchUp.  These videos show the teens work as they learned how to use SketchUp by recreating a room in their own home. Teens Returning to the program pushed their sketchup skills farther by recreating the exterior of a building or a highly detailed piece of furniture or equipment. Their final project utilized the skills they have been developing throughout the session to design and create a scenic design for a a play or a scene from a musical

The teens were given 5 options to choose from for their final design:

 All Shook Up (Musical)

Sweeney Todd (Musical)

 The Producers (Musical)

A Christmas Carol (Play)

The Diary of Anne Frank (Play)
